Sat TT_07, Johnstown Bridge. 10 mile TT.

Will I ever have to write a report without complaining about the wind. Nuff said !

I’ll give first mention on this one to Noel Guinan who chose a day when only he managed to beat handicap, not just a bit but by a very creditable 34seconds, 97.71%. Ken O’Neil managed to equal his handicap for second and Joe Sheehy  4 seconds of his, 100.3%, for third.

Ian Cassidy was fastest with 21:12, Joe Sheehy second with 22:16 and Ken O’Neil 3rd with 22:46.

Age Standard went Ian, Joe and Pat Byrne in 3rd.

Thanks to Harry and Paul on the watches and Deanne on the roundabout.

Again a pleasant gathering post event in the Hamlet Court which is a superb venue.

Next Saturday, 8th, we are back at the Hatchet Inn and then we have a ten day break before Tuesday 18th,  when we are shifting the Al Fresco 25 to Moy Valley in preference over Batterstown.

We were sad to lose Mark Prendergast from the TT Committee, due to external commitments, a few weeks ago and are now happy to announce that Ian Cassidy has volunteered to fill the vacancy and will assume Marks’ position as the TT rep on the Exec Committee and liason with RRcomm.

Phil.
