IVCA clothing 2016.

Hi All. I’m working with Craig on a new issue of IVCA kit for 2016. As before there will be Standard and Racing Masters versions available. We need to get an idea of how many would be interested in purchasing to see if we can meet the minimum quantities required for ordering. It would be a great help if interested members would drop me a line, with no obligation at this stage, so that I know if I’m wasting my time or not. Link below to pics of the kit. Next Road Event Sunday 8th May : Venue Changed to Monasterevin

Due to roadworks on the circuit in Roundwood the race committee has no alternative but to move next Sundays race.

The Dermot McGrath memorial races will now be held in monasterevin with the Dermot McGrath Cup going to the winner of race 3

 

It’s very important that when you sign-on at each race that you have your racing card swiped otherwise you won’t be listed on the start sheet ! So please ensure arrive early and in plenty of time.
Marshals please arrive at least 30 mins before the race start for your briefing.

Monasterevin Results

Notwithstanding the weather, we had a great day of racing in Monasterevin, with victory in the four races going to Mark Kidd, Mark Burns, Declan Weldon and Eddie Scully. 119 rider participated across the 4 races.

A special mention must be made of all those who helped marshal the event in appalling conditions, and especially the motorcycle marshals who provided a great service in ensuring all the side roads were covered along the route. Chapeau gentlemen.

The IVCA’s Christian’s Baptism……

Race 1

The 1st race of the new 2016  season, sees IVCA newcomer Joe Christian of Gorey CC taking his win in fine style. In a late break he broke free to win on his own from Paul McKenna of Kilcullen Murphy Surveyors coming in 2nd and Emmet Reilly of Smart Lamp taking 3rd place.

Race 2

Race 2 saw Mike Ciaffey of Bray Wheelers take the win with Mark McGarry of Sorrento CC in 2nd and David Holland Of Cuchulainn CC in 3rd spot.

Race 3

Gerard Murphy of Clontarf CC takes the honors in race 3 with Graham Synnott of Droghedea Wheelers in 2nd and Gerry Jameson of Blanch Wheelies CC in 3rd

Printing documents from Google docs

Here are a couple of quick tips if you want to print down the Race Calendar, Marshals list or Ability Group listings….

When you are on the page for any of these documents, select “Click Here to View Full File”. When the screen changes you see will a little down-arrow with a line under it on the menu bar at the top of the screen. This allows you to Download the file fully (you will get an option to Open it or Save it). Once you download the file, you should be able to format the file in whatever way you want for your printer.

Getting it together ………….

So I think now is the time to do something different … make us a more connected racing community… where we can see weekly updates, results, news and banter ! Hopefully have multi-contributors for what ever biking style suits your fancy … nearly time to get our asses in gear, and well over due on getting with the times webwise !!!
