Today we returned to Tullamore for the first time since 2019.
As always Donagh McArdle and the entire Tullamore Club turned out in force to promote the PHOENIX CUP on behalf of the IVCA.
The Marshals and Lead Car drivers provided by the club allowed our Rostered marshals to race and they did an unbelievable job on every junction in very wet and windy conditions providing the riders with a very safe race, so a Huge thanks to them.
Back at the Sign on venue for the prize presentation we were treated to a very generous array of prizes for each race while enjoying excellent refreshments.
So thank you to the Sponsors for the prizes and all involved.

Just under 2 laps of the ‘lumpy’ Kilmessan course, starting from Dunsany GAA, for our mid-week race. Good to see plenty of action following our enforced ‘day off’ as we all helped with the Wicklow 200 last weekend.

A great days racing on a tough course, I’m certain you’ll all agree. We are grateful to Fergal Kennedy for his hard work in putting in place the arrangements for the event, which even included him driving around the course on the morning of the race to make sure there were no obstacles and we could all race safely. Just under 2 laps of a fast circuit resulted in a quick set of events on Tuesday evening. Thankfully the rain held off and all arrived back at Race HQ safely to enjoy a post race pint of protein drink!

Hi all,
As most of you will be aware, a serious crash occurred during the bunch sprint of the Black group. As riders were still on the ground when the Orange, White, and Green groups arrived, their sprints were neutralised and no results recorded for these groups, or for that matter, the bunch in the Black group.
Safety of all riders in the IVCA league is of the utmost importance, and we simply could not put anyone at risk whilst the injured were attended to by the paramedics.
We are grateful to all those who assisted the injured riders following the crash, and we wish everyone a speedy recovery.
