Greensheds Sign on Details Sunday May 28th

Sign on is at Dunsany GAA Club, the location of which is shown here.  The most straightforward route for anyone travelling from south of Dunshauglin is to take the Trim road as far as Grange Cross and turn right.  Keep on this road until you reach the GAA club.

Sign-on opens at 8am and closes at 8.45am sharp.  Marshal briefing is at 8.15 sharp.

We had a serious crash last Sunday after which one of our members was hospitalised and spent a few days in ICU, we wish to thank paramedics and all those who attended the scene.

PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN RIDING IN THE BUNCH OR IN A BREAK – IT ONLY TAKES A SINGLE SECOND OF A LAPSE IN CONCENTRATION FROM ANY OF US TO CAUSE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT !
PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE CHOOSING WHEN & WHERE TO DO THE FOLLOWING ; TAKING A SLIP FROM A BOTTLE -OPENING A GEL – LOOKING BEHIND. ALSO WHEN RIDING THROUGH LEAVE AN APPROPRIATE GAP FOR THE RIDER YOU ARE OVERTAKING.
We also ask riders to show the utmost respect to the venue we will be using, so please Leave No Trace – take home any litter with you and use dressing room and toilets provided.

The Wicklow 200 Sunday 11th June

The Wicklow 200 takes place on Sunday, 11th June.  With a new Start/Finish venue in Bray Emmet’s GAA Club, this year’s event is going to be the biggest and best ever.

A survey of last year’s participants showed a high level of satisfaction with the organisation and marshalling of the event and we are proud of the enormous contribution that you, the IVCA members, make to maintaining the Wicklow 200’s reputation as Ireland’s Premier Sportive event.

As you are aware, as a Racing Member of the IVCA, you are required to help out with the running of the event.  Without your assistance, the event simply could not be run to the same high standard.

Our event organisers, led by Alan Heary whom most of you met at our Race Information Days in March, will be in touch with you over the coming days to provide you with details of your marshalling point and time slot for the event.  The organisers will also be in contact with those of you who are not available on the day itself in relation to tasks to be completed in the run up to the event.

Your continued support for the Wicklow 200, which the IVCA has proudly organised for over 35 years, will make a huge contribution to the experience of the participants on 11th June.
