2024 IVCA Dick O’Brien Leisure League

Happy New Year to all in the IVCA.

The 1st Round of the 2024 Dick O’Brien Leisure League will take place on Sunday 14th January.

The East Kildare Tour

The distance will be approx. 73km with a tea stop planned for Clane.

The event will start at 10.00am departing from Wheelworx Fonthill, Unit 48, Fonthill Retail Park, Yellow Walls, Lucan, Co. Dublin, D22 R940.

There is plenty of parking available.

The  IVCA wish to invite members to participate in round ten of the Dick O’Brien Leisure League – The Gay Farnan Memorial Tour- 2023 on  Sunday 08^th October 2023. Sign on at the Grasshopper Pub Car Park Clonee, Co. Meath, from 09.30am. Departure 10.00am sharp.

There will be two routes to choose from – a 42km &  75km route – see route maps attached.

There will be tea, coffee & refreshments provided in the Grasshopper Pub following the event. Please make an effort to show up and remember the founding father of the IVCA Leisure League, the late great Gay Farnan. Members of Gay’s family will be in attendance on the day.

All those wishing to participate must be IVCA members and or CI licence holders and the rules of the road must be observed.

Sign on at the Cycle Superstore car park in Airton Rd, Tallaght, from 08.30am. Departure 09.00am sharp. Total distance = Approx. 120km. There will be a tea stop at Laragh as usual. All those wishing to participate must be IVCA members and or CI licence holders and the rules of the road must be observed.

Sign on at the Grass hopper pub car park in Clonee from 09.30am. Departure 10.00am sharp. Please see below link for the route map. Approx. 80km. There will be a tea stop on Tara Hill as usual.
